Alan Sacks, the principal at A.B.D.M.,  has many years experience in the Hospitality Industry.

A graduate of the internationally recognized degree program at the University of Surrey in England he trained with Thistle Hotels and subsequently worked in two their London properties.

In 1982 Sacks emigrated to Canada and joined Delta Hotels and Resorts.  His experience with Delta included General Management positions at 3 hotels in Mississauga, Ottawa and Vancouver. Before leaving to found A.B.D.M. he was appointed Corporate  Director of Food and Beverage.

While  focused on A.B.D.M.’s purchasing business and condo in a box particularly, Sacks has been and is involved in other Hospitality related positions including:

Teaching at Vancouver Community College

Project Manager at the BC Hotel  Association (ongoing)

Business Development Manger at the BC Hospitality Foundation (ongoing)
